Brighton & Hove Food Partnership have recently issued their EFN Annual Report for 2023, which shows the results of their summer survey of the city’s emergency food providers. The report reveals more than 6,400 people rely on food banks, social supermarkets and community meal providers each week. This is a rise of 25% from the previous year. Many of our CBN centres are at the forefront of this work and will be well aware of the increasing need and the challenges in meeting this need. The report makes for interesting and challenging reading – it can be found here on the B&HFP website B&HFP Publications
