Our next CBN meeting will be on Tuesday 11th November at the Brighthelm Centre. We’ll be joined by an HR consultant who will be telling us about employment legislation and how it may affect the policies and procedures required in our buildings. Some of this legislation – equality and privacy laws, for example – has a broader impact including centre users and volunteers as well as employees, so we hope this will be useful to all of our members, not only those who employ staff.
We’ll also have our usual catch-up from everyone, to share knowledge and talk about current issues and priorities.
